WILLIAMSPORT MILITARY BANNER PROGRAM March 11, 2024 The Mayor & Town Council have authorized the implantation of the Williamsport Military Banner Program. The Military Banner Program will promote veteran’s and active soldiers by allowing family members to purchase a banner displaying the soldier’s picture, name, branch of service, and deployments. The banners will be placed in Byron Memorial Park for public viewing. If the number of purchased banners exceeds available space, the banners will be rotated to ensure each banner is hung for a period of time. Completed applications should include a picture of the solder which will be returned to the family once our vendor completes the banner. Applications may be downloaded by clicking the link below or picked up at Town Hall. All completed applications will be serviced on a first come; first served basis with the Town making every effort to have the banners hung in time for Memorial Day 2024. Please print the application, review the details, complete the application, and submit it along with $125 to Town Hall. All applications are due no later than Friday, April 5, 2024, to ensure the banners will be hung by Memorial Day.
