C&O Canal Trust for Towpath January 10, 2019As the visitor rate for Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Historical Park have been increasing, the federal funding for national parks has been decreasing. C&O Canal Trust has started planning to get help for the national park. The maintenance backlog on the canal is estimated at $106.7 million. Read more about this article here
C&O Canal Headquarters in Williamsport January 10, 2019C&O Canal National Historical Park’s headquarters will be built in Williams sport. The deal was sealed in September, when the Washington County Board of Commissioners approved a grant agreement for $1.25 million.
